Dick Bradow, PGA, serves as the Kentucky Section’s PGA Employment Consultant, a role in which he has served since 1999. He also serves in this capacity for the Carolinas, Indiana, and Tennessee sections. Dick has been a PGA Member since 1976, and before becoming a PGA Employment Consultant, served as the Head PGA Professional at Hillview Country Club in Frankin, Indiana (1977-1985) and at Audubon Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky (1986-1999). He served three terms on the Kentucky PGA’s Board of Directors, along the way serving as Chairman of the Employment, Education, Tournament, and Long Range Planning Committees. He also served on the Indiana PGA’s Board of Directors, and is a PGA Certified Playing Ability Test Examiner.

 

His honors and awards include Kentucky PGA Golf Professional of the Year (2 times); Kentucky PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award (3 times); the Kentucky PGA Private Club Merchandiser of the Year (3 times), and the Kentucky PGA Horton Smith Award.

 

An accomplished player, Dick was a member of the Michigan State University golf team, and was the team’s MVP in 1972. He was the Indiana PGA Match Play Champion in 1981, and has qualified for eleven PGA Professional National Championships and eight Kentucky PGA Challenge Cup Teams.

 

He resides in Louisville with wife Carol. They have two adult sons, Jeff and David, both of whom reside in Louisville.
