Shepherdsville, KY — The Kentucky Golf Association Senior Amateur teed off today at Heritage Hill Golf Club. The 6,648 yard, par 72 golf course proved itself a test to golfers of all abilities while remaining a fun course to play. Firing a 4 under par 68, Scott Ray from Central City has a two shot lead on Bowling Green’s Max Marley and Lexington’s Buddy Bryant. LaGrange’s Tom Scheuerman follows closely behind at even par.
There are four divisions competing in this event including Mid-Seniors (ages 40-54), Seniors (55-64), Masters (65-71) and Legends (72 and over).
Competition is fierce and all golfers are vying to take the lead tomorrow during the final round of the 36-hole stroke play tournament. Tune back in tomorrow to see which golfers battled it out to claim victory! Tee times start Tuesday at 8:10 a.m.
