Why Support Youth on Course Kentucky

The game of golf provides many introductory programs and opportunities for youth across the country. Youth on Course Kentucky provides an affordable opportunity for juniors, from all backgrounds, to continue with the game across the Commonwealth! It serves as a continuation program to keep juniors engaged at an affordable rate while providing extensive access to facilities, and an opportunity for comradery with kids their own age! This helps them (and their parents!) overcome many of the obstacles that may stand in the way of their continuation with the game of golf.

Youth Caddies of Kentucky

The Youth Caddies of Kentucky program is designed for youth ages 14- 18 who wish to participate in a part time job as a caddie at participating golf courses. Participants earn $70 per caddie loop (paid in-part by the KGF) and will accrue loops to become eligible for an Evans Scholarship. The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies, primarily those with limited financial means. To qualify, caddies must meet the requirements of having a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need, and outstanding character.
