PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a program run by PGA of America Golf Professionals that introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to improve their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. This free 6-8 week curriculum is led directly by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals who have been trained specifically to administer this program. PGA HOPE has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which allows PGA HOPE to be used as a form of therapy through direct referrals. PGA HOPE, active in every U.S. state, encourages Veterans and active military to register, graduate from the program, and join a community of people who can relate to each other on many fronts. Across the entire U.S. in 2024, PGA HOPE served 17,000 Veterans across 550+ locations, with an average of 20 participants per program, and added 150 new locations. PGA HOPE Kentucky relies on events like this to help fund and grow the program to reach more veterans across all of Kentucky.
