King Keeps His Lead to Win the Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Mid-Amateur

SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (September 28, 2023) – Following a 66 yesterday to take a two-shot lead, Lexington's Eric King fired a final round 68 to win both the gross and net divisions at the 2023 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Mid-Amateur at Heritage Hill Golf Club. This is his first KY Mid-Amateur win after a 10-under total of 134 that sees him win by two.

Teeing off at 1 p.m. this afternoon, King got off to a steady start with a par on the first three holes, adding birdies on holes 4 and 9 to make the turn with a 35. He added birdies on holes 10, 12, and 17 to total five birdies on the day and 14 for the tournament.
