LOUISVILLE, KY (January 13, 2023) – The Kentucky Golf Association is set for a full tournament season that will offer fun, welcoming events under a variety of formats designed for all types of amateur golfers across the Commonwealth.
The schedule will open during the last full week of April and continue through the end of September with the second year of the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Championship Series highlighting the calendar.
Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington will host the oldest championship in the state as the 109th Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Amateur visits the Pete and P.B. Dye design on June 13-15. Two weeks later on June 26-28, the focus will shift to the ladies for the 100-year anniversary of the inaugural Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Women’s Kentucky Amateur. Bowling Green Country Club will be the site of the competition for the first time in the facility’s history.
Later in the summer, the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Senior Amateur will head west for a visit to Country Club of Paducah on August 14-15. The Women’s State Senior Amateur will go to the opposite side of the state one month later on September 12-13 with Woodson Bend Resort in Bronston hosting that tournament for the fourth time ever. The State Amateurs, and KGA season overall, will culminate on September 27-28 with the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Mid-Am just south of Louisville at Heritage Hill Golf Club.
