Western Kentucky Am Series to Feature Four Tournaments in 2022
Second season of Western Kentucky Am Series to feature four events throughout the golf season.
LOUISVILLE, KY (March 25, 2022) – The Kentucky Golf Association will have the Western Kentucky Am Series featured in its schedule for the second straight year during the 2022 season. This tournament series will contain four events open to male and female amateur golfers of all ages who have a valid USGA handicap index within the KGA.
This year’s schedule is as follows:
- Sunday, May 29 – Calvert City Country Club
- Sunday, July 3 – Paxton Park Golf Course
- Sunday, August 21 – Country Club of Owensboro
- Sunday, September 11 – Murray Country Club
Each tournament will count the gross and net scores of each player who will be divided into divisions based off their age and respective gender. Additionally, points will be awarded to each player based on their performance towards a season-long points standing that will culminate with the awarding of the Western Kentucky Players of the Year following the final event.
