Assistants take the trophy for the 2025 Kaiser Cup

FLORENCE, IN (April 1, 2025) - The Kentucky PGA’s 2025 tournament season has officially begun with the Kaiser Cup, having taken place at Belterra Golf Club in Florence, IN, from March 31 to April 1, 2025.
Congratulations to The Assistants Team for claiming victory! The Assistants have not held this title since 2023. After two days of chilling weather and wind, there has been a paramount victory from this year’s Assistants Team. On the first day, which was played in a Four-Ball format, Assistants took a commanding 4-1 lead. The Assistants Team carried this strong score into day two, where the format changed to singles matches. Assistants maintained their momentum, cruising to a 9.5-5.5 victory.
This annual event features a showdown between 10 of the top Member Professionals in the KPGA and 10 standout Assistant Professionals or Associates.

About the Kentucky PGA
The Kentucky PGA Section (KPGA) is one of 41 Sections across the country that represent the PGA of America and its Members. It is also one of three organizations encompassed within Golf House Kentucky, which also includes the Kentucky Golf Association (KGA) and the Kentucky Golf Foundation (KGF). The KPGA contains more than 300 Members and Associates who work in various roles across Kentucky, all of whom share the goal of bettering the game and its players. The KPGA and its Members assist with the organization of many chief growth-of-the-game initiatives, including PGA HOPE and PGA Jr. League, among others. The Section also operates more than thirty tournaments throughout the golf season, including the three State Open championships and qualifiers for the Kentucky Championship.
