2019 Rules of Golf Education & Resources

A new era begins as the biggest changes to the Rules of Golf take effect for golfers and officials at all levels of the game. Below are links to valuable resources that will greatly assist with these changes, and visit USGA.org/rules for more information.

1/2 day seminars covering changes to the Rules of Golf

These seminars will only cover the 2019 changes to the Rules of Golf. The presentation will last approximately 90 minutes, with question and answer session to follow. An optional test will be available for those who wish to attain certification to officiate at Golf House Kentucky events.

2-Day Rules of Golf Workshop - March 9th - 10th at Persimmon Ridge GC

Golf House Kentucky will host a two-day Rules of Golf Workshop on Saturday and Sunday, March 9th and 10th at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club. The workshop is open to anyone and will be taught by expert USGA and KGA rules officials. It will emulate the format of the traditional USGA Rules Workshop and will cover:

- A full overview of the 24 Rules of Golf, how The Rules of Golf and the Interpretations on the Rules of Golf books are organized, and presentations on the importance of the terms used in the Rules of Golf.

- In-depth presentations on the fundamental Rules governing match and stroke play, playing the ball as it lies, playing the course as it is found and the Rules dealing with relief situations.

- Optional USGA test for obtaining certification to officiate at USGA and KGA events

The cost to attend is $50 and will include lunch both days as well as the 2019 Rules of Golf and Interpretations on the Rules of Golf books. All PGA Members and Associates will receive 12 MSR credits.
