2022 P.J. Boatwright Internships Open for Application

Golf House Kentucky has four (4) P.J. Boatwright internships available for the summer of 2022. These positons are funded through the USGA in Mr. Boatwright's honor to develop a passion for golf administration among young adults. The Kentucky Golf Association, Kentucky Golf Foundation and Kentucky PGA Section look forward to fostering a fun, educational and safe environment for a group of interns once more in the summer of 2022. 

We are seeking three (3) tournament operations interns who will be present at KGA, KPGA and Kentucky PGA Junior Tour events performing a variety of roles. Those include starting, scoring, monitoring pace of play, assisting with rulings, course marking, setting tees, and charting hole locations. These interns will also play a role in general Association support such as course ratings and handicapping. They will also have opportunities to work in the communications realm with tasks that could include photography or writing news releases. We are also seeking one (1) media intern who will play a key role in the communications and marketing of Golf House Kentucky's organizations. This applicant would be present at a number of tournaments throughout the summer telling the story of how an event is playing out. This would be done through controlling social media networks, photography, writing news releases and video production. Away from tournaments, this intern can expect to assist with the production of Golf Pod Kentucky and developing other content pieces promoting Kentucky golf and its players.
