2024 Pro-Assistant/Pro-Pro Champions

LOUISVILLE, KY (May 20, 2024) —The Kentucky PGA returned yesterday with the Callaway Pro-Assistant/Pro-Pro Championship Presented by Levelwear and Supported by RBHawk Accessory Solutions at Audubon Country Club. Bowling Green Country Club's Eric Voss was a champion two times over, tying for first with both David Plumb and Justin Warman, also from BGCC, in the Pro-Assistant category. In the Pro-Pro division, the duo of Casey Schneider (Fort Wright Driving Range) and Ian Petersime (Golf Exchange) claimed a one-shot victory.

The day began at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start, with participants competing in a Four-Ball format. Plumb/Voss and Warman/Voss shot matching 5-under 67s to top the rest of the field by two shots. Schneider and Petersime carded a 7-under 65 to beat Owl Creek Country Club's Dan Utley, PGA, and Summit Hills Country Club's Tom Walters, PGA, by one. The event also featured a Low Pro Stroke Play, claimed by Utley with a 3-under 69.


NOTES & STATS

  • The par-5 15th hole played the easiest, averaging just 0.03 strokes over par with a total of 18 birdies and 53 pars. 
  • The front nine finished with the hardest hole of the day, with the par-4 9th hole averaging .77 strokes over par.
  • Competitors collectively carded 151 birdies and 844 pars throughout the day.
  • The event average was a 79.34, with the back nine (39.01) playing 1.32 strokes easier than the front (40.33).
