The Kentucky PGA Section would like to congratulate three of its Member families on being rewarded with 2020 scholarships from the PGA of America. Each of these students will receive $2,000 to help pay for their college education. The recipients were as follows:

• Margaret Butts (Freshman) - The daughter of Michael Butts, PGA Head Golf Professional at Drake Creek Golf Course in Paducah.
• Emily Sedgwick (Freshman) - The daughter of Scott Sedgwick, PGA Head Golf Professional at Louisville Country Club.
• Pearson Shafer (Sophomore) - The son of Kim Shafer, PGA Jr. League Administrator for the PGA of America and Steve Shafer, PGA Director of Golf at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville.

The Section congratulates each family and thanks the PGA of America for making these scholarship opportunities possible.
