Chris Wilson Leads Team to Victory in Feeders Supply Lake Forest Pro-Am
LOUISVILLE, KY (October 1, 2020) – The Feeders Supply Lake Forest Pro-Am is complete and the team of Chris Wilson, Aaron Nicholson, Tom Lies, and Logan Manford emerged victorious at the Louisville facility. One of the most enjoyable tournaments of the year for KPGA Members and their amateurs did not disappoint as win or lose, there was a surplus of fun to be had across Lake Forest Country Club on Thursday.
With the format being two best scores per hole (net scores for amateurs) in a shamble format, seventeen birdies and three eagles were rung up by the winning foursome as they earned a one-stroke victory after posting 124 (-20). The teams of Jesse Massie/Kevin Purcell/Alex App/Gary Young, Robbie Baldwin/Jason Rainey/Tim Schureman/Todd Howard and Robert Costello/Justin Campbell/Tim Couch/Brandon Egan finished runner-up.
The low professional competition of the day produced a tie between Associate Professionals Nick Johnston and Jesse Massie. Each player shot 71 (-1) which was two strokes better than host professional Keith Ohr who finished in third place.
NOTES & STATS
- In the gross score category, four eagles were carded throughout the day. There was one made on each of the par-fives (2, 7, 14, and 17).
- Excluding the 17th, the par-fives made up three of the four easiest holes of the day. 14 stood as the easiest of them all with a stroke-to-par average of -0.21.
- The par-four 18th was by far the hardest hole of the day playing at +0.83. There was not one gross birdie recorded on it.

The Kentucky PGA Section thanks each player who competed in today’s event, Feeders Supply for their sponsorship and continued support of Golf House Kentucky, plus Keith Ohr, PGA Head Professional and the rest of his staff at Lake Forest for hosting the competition. The Section’s next event will be Monday for the EZLinks Pro-Senior presented by Sun Mountain. Registration is closed for that event, but registration is open for next Monday’s Pro-Pro at Woodhaven Country Club.
