Free Program for Veterans
After a successful inaugural event at Lindsey Golf Course on Saturday, June 25, we are pleased to announce PGA HOPE programs designed to assist Veterans at no cost. PGA HOPE at Fort Knox provides all Veterans with free golf instruction taught by local PGA Professionals. The HOPE program is designed to provide golf as a therapeutic rehabilitation tool for all military Veterans. The lifetime sport of golf has proven to be an excellent outlet for activity and competition, but also allows Veterans to assimilate back into their community through the social interaction the game provides. Each program consists of six 90-minute sessions that begin at 5:00 p.m. (eastern). Sessions include instruction, camaraderie and playing opportunities. Program 1 will be held July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3 and August 10 at Lindsey Golf Course in Fort Knox. Program 2 will be held August 24, 31, September 7, 14, 21 and 28 at Lindsey Golf Course in Fort Knox. To register ... click here > > or call 800-254-2742 (ext. 301).
