Louisville, Kentucky - December 18, 2024 - Golf House Kentucky is proud to announce the appointment of Peter Kremer as its new Chief Executive Officer.  A Louisville native, Kremer brings extensive experience in organizational leadership and has a strong background in program development and fundraising.

Born and raised in Louisville, Kremer attended Trinity High School, Bellarmine University, and earned his MBA from the University of Louisville. After college, Kremer began his career in the golf industry as an assistant golf professional at Polo Fields Country Club before transitioning into management roles at both Polo Fields and Oxmoor Country Club.

Kremer had an opportunity to join his alma mater and spent 17 years at Bellarmine University, where he successfully led the Bellarmine Alumni Association as Executive Director. Under his leadership, the organization experienced unprecedented growth, increased member engagement, and earned multiple state and national awards. Kremer’s accomplishments culminated in his promotion to Assistant Vice President for Development, where he played a pivotal role in completing a $100 million campaign, leading major fundraising projects, and supporting Bellarmine’s transition to NCAA Division I Athletics.  For the last year, Kremer held the General Manager role at Woodhaven Country Club leading all facets of the operation.

"The role of CEO at Golf House Kentucky perfectly combines my lifelong love of golf with my passion for philanthropic work," Kremer said. "It's a unique opportunity to bring these two aspects of my life together to make a meaningful impact."

Beyond his professional achievements, Kremer has been an active community leader. He has served as a Class Ambassador for Trinity High School, Vice President on the Friends of the Louisville Zoo Board, and a volunteer for over 10 service trips to Appalachia through Hand in Hand Ministries. Additionally, he completed the Leadership Louisville Program and has been a dedicated youth coach and volunteer at his church, Our Lady of Lourdes.

In his new role as CEO, Kremer will oversee all organizations of Golf House Kentucky, with a special focus on growing the Kentucky Golf Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to enriching and impacting lives through golf, emphasizing programs that support youth development and veterans' engagement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Peter Kremer as the new Chief Executive Officer of Golf House Kentucky,” said Danny Baron, President of Golf House Kentucky. “Peter’s deep-rooted ties to our community, combined with his leadership experience and proven track record in fundraising, make him the ideal choice to lead our organization into its next stage. We are confident that his vision and expertise will help us continue to strengthen the Kentucky Golf Foundation for years to come.”

Kremer expressed his enthusiasm for the role which he will start in January, 2025, stating, “I am deeply honored to join Golf House Kentucky as its CEO. Golf is more than just a game; it’s a powerful tool for building community, fostering personal growth, and creating lasting positive change.
