Jeff Adkerson Named Executive Director of Golf House Kentucky
LOUISVILLE, KY (December 20, 2019) – Golf House Kentucky is proud to announce Jeff Adkerson, PGA Master Professional will assume the role of Executive Director beginning January 13, 2020.
Adkerson has been the Director of PGA Golf Management and Golf Operations at Mississippi State University since 2003. His ties to Mississippi State date back to his days as a college student where he received a Master's Degree in Business Administration along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing coupled with a concentration in PGA Golf Management. Adkerson served as the PGA Golf Professional at Richland Country Club in Nashville, Tennessee and Marietta Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia before he took the position at Mississippi State.
Adkerson comes to Kentucky with a decorated history which includes being the national recipient of the 2017 Horton Smith Award. Shortly before that, Adkerson became a PGA Master Professional in Golf Operations. 2019 will conclude twelve years as a Member of the Gulf States Section’s Board of Directors with the last eight years coming as service as an officer.

I look forward to the challenge of growing these programs and these organizations, thus enhancing the experiences all golfers have as they participate in the great sport of golf. The one thing I hope to bring to the table as the next Executive Director is a results-focused, strategic leadership approach. This will be accomplished by supporting and developing a great team that will provide exceptional experiences and services while executing the vision and mission of Golf House Kentucky.”

We are looking forward to the future under his leadership.”
Jeff will be accompanied in his move to Louisville by his wife Amy and their daughters Emily and Lauren. The Board of Directors and Golf House Kentucky staff look forward to welcoming the Adkerson family to Kentucky next month and are eager to begin working with him.
