KGA and KPGA Tournament Registration Opens March 8th and 9th, Respectively
On Monday, March 8th, tournament registration for the 2021 Kentucky Golf Association season will open. One day later on Tuesday, March 9th, tournament registration for the Kentucky PGA Section's season will open up. This is a change from years past where both organization's tournaments opened for registration on the same day, so please note which tournaments fall under which organization.
The Kentucky Golf Association features tournaments for the amateur golfer, which means the Clark's Pump-N-Shop State Amateurs, State Match Play Championship and Am Series are among the tournaments that will open on March 8th. Other tournaments that will open on this day include the Kentucky Amateur Diversity Championship and Kentucky Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
Any golfer interested in playing KGA tournaments must become part of the 2021 Player's Program. This is a $20 fee that once purchased, will allow the person to then register for events.
The Kentucky PGA Section offers tournaments for professionsls with amateurs also able to partake in many of these events. Namely, the State Opens and the three Golf House Kentucky Classic tournaments. Each of these events will open for registration on March 9th, along with the rest of the KPGA calendar of events, such as Pro-Pros and Pro-Ams.
Members and Associates of the KPGA may purchase the 2021 Player's Card, a $100 fee which then discounts entry fees for every Pro-Pro and Pro-Am by $25 per event.
