Nine Champions Crowned at the Western Kentucky Junior Championship in Paducah

Girls 13-15 Winner and Runner-Up: Emlie Miller and Mary Clayton Rodgers

PADUCAH, KY- The Western Kentucky Junior Championship concluded on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Country Club of Paducah. The tournament had nine different age divisions represented, crowning nine new western Kentucky champions. 

Landon Hurt finished the competition strong with a score of 71 for round two, shooting six shots better than his runner-up. He finished with a score of 154, making him the 16-18 division champion. For the Girls 16-18 division, Anna Mccall Moore dominated the competition, shooting a total gross score of 162.

Jack Farmery in the Boys 13-15 division had an outstanding two rounds. Farmery shot even on day one and came back ready to grind on day two, securing five birdies. This led him to shoot a total gross score of 140 (-3), making him the Boys 13-15 champion as well as the lowest scoring player of the day.  

Emlie Miller was crowned the Girls 13-15 champion after a fabulous two days, finishing with a total gross score of 159. 

Max DeHaven took home the Boys 11-12 title after locking in two birdies throughout the duration of the tournament and shooting even during round two. Parker Haddix was once again the champion in the Girls 10-12 division, shooting a total gross score of 80.

For the Boys 10 & Under division, Mason Day walked away the champion, finishing with a score of 93.  Paislie Miller is the Girls 9 & Under champion after shooting a total score of 84, even while playing with older partners.

Scott Ralston is the Boys 8 & Under champion after shooting a stunning total gross score of 74 with two birdies.
