Over 200 Middle Schoolers Compete For Title
212 kids competed across six Regional Championships for the opportunity to advance to the KPGA Middle School State Championship on Saturday, October 1 at Quail Chase GC. These Championships are designed to give juniors in the 8th grade or younger the opportunity to compete in a competition drawing the best young players from all parts of the state.
KPGA Professionals at each host facility were instrumental in administering the events at their course. A special thank you goes out to PGA Professionals Danny Mullen (Paxton Park GC), Michael Johnson (Glasgow G&CC), Clay Hamrick (Battlefield GC), Kirk Schooley (Juniper Hill GC), Greg Basham (Cherokee GC), and Russ Gartner (Boone Links GC) for hosting the Regionals.
