2019 KGA Am Series Champions Crowned

The 2019 Kentucky Golf Association Amateur Series is in the books. One of the most successful seasons for the popular tournament series completed on Monday, September 16 at Kearney Hill Links in Lexington. Awards were presented to the day's lowest players along with the season's top golfers, putting a bow on the 2019 slate.

The following players recorded the best rounds on Monday at Kearney Hill, giving them wins in the year's final event:

Eric King - Open, Gross - 71 (-1)
Alex Linderman - Open, Net - 70 (-2)
David Rudder - Senior, Gross - 70 (-2)
Greg Engle - Senior, Net - 69 (-3)
Dennis Long - Masters, Gross - 74 (+2) (scorecard playoff over Gary Backlund)
Ricky Bourne - Masters, Net - 69 (-3)
Dan Albers - Legends, Gross - 74 (+2)
Jimmy Dunaway - Legends, Net - 69 (-3)

Additionally, trophies were presented to the players who accumulated the most points throughout the season. Beginning in April at Nevel Meade, the Amateur Series visited Wildwood, Boone's Trace National, Eagle Trace, and Bowling Green Country Club before today's season finale.
